10/2025 : Renzo RUBELE, Champion d'Italie Cat.Maître à Palerme

Notre ancien sociétaire Renzo Rubele continue et persiste inlassablement à progresser dans le Jeu de Dames et ses variantes; il vient de triompher ici à Palerme dans le Jeu de Dames à l'Italienne, félicitations.

Campionati italiani, specialità Dama Italiana, categoria Assoluto, Maestri, Candidati Maestri e Nazionali. A Palermo nella settimana appena conclusa sono stati assegnati i titoli di Campione di Italia. Il Grande Maestro Francesco Gitto  è il nuovo campione italiano "Assoluto", dopo un testa a testa fino all'ultimo turno con il Campione del Mondo in carica Damiano Sciuto , terzo classificato il Grande Maestro Paolo Faleo Il titolo italiano categoria Maestri va al veronese Renzo Rubele che la spunta di quoziente sul livornese Franco Manetti e Carmelo Sciuto . Stesso discorso nel campionato italiano dei Candidati Maestri dove Ignazio Marica  la spunta di quoziente su Placido Pappalardo , terzo il reggino Francesco Borrello .Nel campionato italiano categoria Nazionali si laurea campione italiano Salvatore La Spina sul podio secondo classificato Salvatore Marchese Ragona e terzo Nathan Censi  il più giovane dei partecipanti dei campionati.Alla premiazione sono intervenuti il Vicepresidente della Federazione italiana dama Dama Claudio Ciampi, il Consigliere Nazionale Massimo Ciarcia'e il Presidente del Comitato Fid Sicilia Severino Sapienza.In foto i momenti della premiazione di tutti e quattro i campionati.

Championnats d'Italie, spécialité Dames Italiennes, catégories Absolu, Masters , Maîtres Candidats et National. Les titres de champion d'Italie ont été décernés à Palerme la semaine dernière. Le Grand Maître Francesco Gitto est le nouveau champion d'Italie "Absolu", après une lutte acharnée jusqu'à la dernière ronde contre le champion du monde en titre, Damiano Sciuto. Le Grand Maître Paolo Faleo complète le podium. Le titre de Masters italiens revient à Renzo Rubele de Vérone , qui a devancé Franco Manetti et Carmelo Sciuto de Livourne au classement général. Même constat pour le championnat d'Italie des Maîtres Candidats, où Ignazio Marica s'est imposé face à Placido Pappalardo au classement général, Francesco Borrello de Reggio de Calabre prenant la troisième place. Salvatore La Spina, champion d'Italie, est monté sur la plus haute marche du podium, suivi de Salvatore Marchese Ragona, deuxième, et de Nathan Censi, le plus jeune participant du championnat, troisième. La cérémonie de remise des prix s'est déroulée en présence du vice-président de la Fédération italienne de dames, Claudio Ciampi, du conseiller national Massimo Ciarcia et du président du comité FID Sicile, Severino Sapienza. 06/10 --> 11/10/2025 : Nederlands Kampioenschap categorie B, KNDB 2025

Janes de Vries Nederlands kampioen.

Raes DC Maastrichtst heeft dankzij ons Belgisch lid Janes sinds vandaag na een bloedstollende slotronde weer een Nederlands kampioen in de B-klasse, rating tot 1100.
Net als 4 jaar geleden is Janes kampioen geworden. Na een mindere zomerperiode heeft Janes in de eerste ronde van de nationale competitie weer zijn draai gevonden. Hiervoor heeft hij veel trainingsarbeid verricht en
de samenwerking met zijn trainer heeft hem veel damvertrouwen gegeven. Janes heeft een ongeslagen toernooi gespeeld met een 75% score en boekte een toernooirating van maar liefst 1231! Dit betekent dat hij in dit toernooi
maar liefst 200 rating punten boven zijn niveau speelde. Er is in Maastricht maar 1 speler die een hogere virtuele rating heeft. Om kampioen te worden moest hij in de laatste ronde winnen en dat deed hij gewoon.
Er deden nog 2 Limburgers mee. Dieter van Gortel speelde in de B-klasse gewoon op zijn eigen niveau en eindigde als 18e. Verder speelde oud Venlonaar Bert Roest mee.
In de C-klasse speelde Jeroen Huskens na een goede start onder zijn niveau en werd 15e.
Het risico bestaat nu dat Janes het volgend jaar zijn titel niet mag verdedigen omdat hij dan mogelijk al een rating boven de 1100 heeft. De volgende thuiswedstrijd kunnen we na afloop dit kampioenschap samen met Janes vieren.

De Vries en Luchies pakken damtitels

Janes de Vries heeft voor de tweede keer het Nederlands kampioenschap dammen in de klasse B op zijn naam geschreven. Eerder lukte dat de speler uit Heusden-Zolder in 2021.
De Vries startte in Westerhaar met de scherpste opening die het dammen kent: 35-30. Tegenstander Harry Vos (Velswijk) ging niet mee in het aanbod om voor vuurwerk op het bord te zorgen. Een partij ontwikkelde zich waarbij beide dammers
wederzijds de korte vleugel op de korrel namen. Tot de 49ste zet bleef de partij in evenwicht. Spannend, want concurrent Berend Plijter was door Aize Plantinga zo maar een schijf winst in de schoot geworpen.
De Vries haalde de buit binnen met een combinatie naar dam plus finesse na. Tweevoudig kampioen Berend Plijter waande zich al vroeg op de slotdag voor de derde keer titelhouder. Na een misser van Plantinga leek de Groninger niets meer een
overwinning in de weg te staan. Plijter nam zijn taak echter te eenvoudig op waardoor zijn Friese tegenstander via een offer naar remise kon vluchten. De geschrokken Groninger moest nog zijn best doen om niet te verliezen.
Bertwin Letteboer rukte in de slotronde nog op naar de – in punten – gedeelde derde plaats. De dammer uit Vriezenveen sloot de lange vleugel van Hilco Braakman (Vroomshoop) op en liet niet meer los.
In de C-klasse prolongeerde Hans Luchies de titel. In de slotronde pareerde de dammer uit Ugchelen een poging tot doorbraak van Koert Meuleman (Den Ham) met een vernietigende slagzet. De tweede plaats was
voor Tonnie Schutte uit Harfsen die in een rechtstreeks duel nummer drie Herjan Overweg (Hardenberg) van het lijf hield.

La 2e ronde a été jouée le samedi 04 octobre 2025 : situation

06/09/2025 : 7e tournoi "Meisjestoernooi van Droomdamsters" organisé à Rijnsburg aux Pays-Bas

Cette nouvelle édition du tournoi "Meisjestoernooi van Droomdamsters" a connu le beau succès habituel mais il faut surtout souligner
la 3e victoire consécutive de la belge Aurelia Schalley qui cette fois a obtenu le maximum des points, soit 14 sur 14,
il faut la féliciter chaleureusement.
Ses 2 premières victoires eurent lieu à Drachten le 28/09/2024 et à Lunteren le 21/06/2025

Tournoi annuel en "Blitz" cadence 5'+3" par coup - Système Suisse sur 8 rondes.
Brillante première place acquise par Adiatou IBRAHIM suivi de Martijn van Gortel et Rudi Claes. La première dame affiliée belge est Ahlaia Shynkarenko

Notre compatriote Aurelia Schalley s'est particulièrement bien distinguée dans ce tournoi annuel qu'elle vient de remporter pour la 2e année consécutive.
Cette année, elle a obtenu le maximum des points soit 14 sur 14. Félicitations.
Onze landgenoot Aurelia Schalley onderscheidde zich vooral in dit jaarlijkse toernooi dat ze zojuist voor het 2e opeenvolgende jaar heeft gewonnen.

17/05/2025 : Repas de printemps 2025 au Damier Royal Ixellois

Le repas a été précédé d’un moment de convivialité autour du Jeu de Dames.
Horaire :
• 10h30 - 12h30 : «Dames à la bonne franquette» organisé par Adiatou.
Les participants ont pu jouer des parties, ou des fragments de partie. Echanger à propos de problèmes, positions remarquables, recevoir ou donner des explications.
Faire autant d’erreurs qu’ils le souhaitent, bref s’amuser beaucoup.
• 12h30 – Apéritif suivi du repas
BBQ saucisses Siciliennes + gratin de pomme de terre et crudités + panna cotta + café
Si intolérances pour certains aliments, merci de le préciser.
Apéritif, Vin, jus de pomme et eau plate offerts par la maison.
Après-midi très conviviale et bien réussie !

Andrei Catana, nouveau membre de la FRBJD ne cesse de nous étonner; après sa victoire récente dans les parties CLASSIC en précédent d'un petit point notre jeune vice-championne du CB-BK 2025,
il remporte cette fois le titre de champion de Belgique en parties RAPIDES devant le MF Patrick Casaril.

La championne de Belgique en Parties RAPIDES n'est autre que la vice-Championne CB-BK 2025 en Parties CLASSIQUES.
Face à des adversaires bien plus âgés qui ont des années d'expérience, avec 11 points sur 14, Aurelia obtient encore un meilleur résultat que sont rival Andrei en "Classiques" c-à-d. 11 points sur 14 soit 79%.
Elle a reçu une grande coupe et son ticket pour la 1e classe en 2026 ! Félicitations.

Ewa Schalley remporte son 2e Titre de Championne de Belgique, son premier sacre date de 2019. Lors de la dernière ronde, l'ancien champion Stephan Michiels a encore pu
arracher une remise à Kenny Le Roy le privant ainsi du Titre suprême au profit de Ewa !

Dans la division 2, il faut ici souligner la prestation extraordinaire de la jeune Aurelia Schalley qui termine à un petit point du champion.
La 3e place étant occupée par le redoutable Michel Trouet, un sociétaire du club organisateur.

IN MEMORIAM : De heer Karel De Raedt 08/08/1948 – 23/01/2025 - R.I.P.

Woonachtig te Zomergem (9930, België) , geboren te Gent (9000, België) op zondag 8 augustus 1948
Overleden te Zomergem (9930, België) op donderdag 23 januari 2025 op 76-jarige leeftijd , echtgenoot van Mevrouw Linda Schatteman - Bericht in bijlage.

Karel De Raedt d’un niveau de jeu assez moyen était par contre une figure emblématique dans le jeu de dames en Flandres surtout lors de la création de la VDSL en 1978 où il occupait la fonction de secrétaire. Pendant un certain temps dans les années 1970, il a collaboré avec Jean Maes pour une revue nationale bilingue. Il a aussi rédigé de nombreuses chroniques Jeu de Dames dans la Gazet van Antwerpen. FMJD World Amateur Draughts Championship 2025
Message du 16/01/2025: Amateur players have the opportunity to play the FMJD World Amateur Draughts Championship 2025. This is for players with rating 2100 or lower. The Tournament takes place from 5th to 8th June in Loutraki in Greece.
- Beste allen, Het WK  voor spelers onder de 2100 rating gaat door in juni in Griekenland. De FMJD wil tegen 20 januari, dit is over 5 dagen.
Gelieve dit door te geven aan jullie betrokken spelers. Ik verwacht dringend de namen van degene die daar naartoe willen.
